Here's another item I painted for my father for his birthday, Christmas, or Father's Day.  He gave me one of two small canoe paddles he bought to use for decoration.  Since he loves and collects lighthouses, I chose Cape Hatteras due to is narrow structure, something perfect for a narrow paddle.   I never did get around to painting  on the second one though (maybe someday).
