Double Faced Italian Wool Vest and Cotton Trade Shirt

For his first Rendezvous and for the Wild West party, I made this outfit for my friend Caleb.  The wool used for the vest was from some left over pieces I had from the Double-Faced Heavy Wool Cape project and was based on a basic vest pattern for a multitude of sources.  I finished the edges off with hand sewn blanket stitch and 100% wool yarn.  I first sewed the button holes using the machine, and then covered them with the yarn.  The shirt was from pattern ? and is one of the simplest to make.  I accidentally excluded the collar, but as he will soon be growing out of it and I will have to make another anyway, it hasn't really mattered.  Just to note, in the last picture, I made both the moccasins and the pouch he is wearing.
