At PVR 2009 my niece, Rachel, absolutely fell in love with a dark red & purple toile polonaise I had for sale in my shop.  Since it was too big for her then , I promised I would make her her very own dress for Christmas.  When I asked her what her favorite colors were, she said first blue then pink.  In thinking back to my stash I realized I had the exact same toile in blue and pink, and so I was able to give her exactly what she asked for for Christmas.  She put it on shortly after opening it up and would not take it off even to eat, so we made sure to get her apron on in case she spilled.  We were finally able to get her out of it when it was time for the long ride home.  I know she's looking forward to wearing it at PVR 2010.
