The above two caps are made from the same pattern, La Fleur de Lyse's Mid - 18th Century Caps and Coif.  The second is made from the exact pattern, however I did not like how wide the ruffles were and how small the back was, so I modified both pieces which resulted in the cap pictured first.  Both caps are made from 100% cotton fabric and poly cotton ribbon.  The red ribbon on both is not attached and is simply tied around to add color.
