Gray Wool - Cotton Broadcloth Lined 1750s Coat Pattern

Please forgive the bad photos.  I made this jacket for my father for Christmas '07 using JP Ryan's 1750s Coat Pattern - the civilian version.  The outer shell is made of a piece of gray wool my mother found thrift store shopping and the lining is of a black cotton broadcloth (I admit, I had to pay full price for the broadcloth).  There are 30 buttons in all on this jacket (the most expensive part of the entire project), and despite my pre-washing both fabrics, the wool has stretched a bit causing a slight sag in the bottom side fronts.  It does have working pockets however, the first I have done on a period jacket or waistcoat to date.
