When Andy & Lianne asked to join us at HBV 2009, I rummaged through my costumes and quickly realized I didn't have anything that would fit Andy.  Then I realized I didn't have a drop sleeve pattern on hand for someone his size (meaning adult size) and didn't have time to order one either.  So I sat down with the Eagle View Boy's Drop Sleeve Shirt pattern I did have and worked up one large enough to fit Andy.  It is made from 100% cotton deep red broadcloth with antique shell buttons.  I included a rather deep pleat at the center back to allow for ease of movement and finished the inside collar and cuffs by hand.  He looked the true skinner in his new shirt and my red silk scarf.
