1920's Flapper Jewelry
I made the following items to go with the Pleated Satin & Beaded Trim 1920's Flapper Outfit for my friend Morgan to wear to a Murder Mystery Fund Raiser Party for our local Humane Society.  The necklace is made from glass pearls I found at Hobby Lobby, small silver seed pearls that were in my stash and is strung on silk cord with a 3 strand box clasp (also from my stash).  I actually made the necklace to match a 1700's sacque back gown I'm planning but it looked so good with this outfit that we decided to go with it.  I put the earrings and bracelet together from the same glass pearls and seed beads as the necklace but with gold findings (the ear post are vintage from a local bead shop).  The ring is actually a bead that Morgan purchased at Hobby Lobby which I hot glued to an adjustable ring base so it could be removed later and made into a necklace if desired (I painted in the hole with a bit of black latex that can be easily removed).  For more photos of the dress click here and for more photos of the headdress click here.
