Ivory Taffeta & Embroidered Organza 1950's Bridesmaid & Flower Girl Gowns

These gowns where made for Shara's Wedding.  The flower girl dress was made using Pattern # ?.  The bridesmaid dress I designed myself using a current Vogue pattern as well as a vintage pattern from the 1950's.  Two bridesmaids gowns were needed, one with a green satin sash and one with a peach satin sash - to match the flower girl's dress.  I made the matching hats using a pre-purchased buckram frame (www.hatsupply.com/buckram.htm BFF 005) to which I simply glued a layer of the dress lining, a layer of the taffeta, and finally a layer of the organza.  The shawls were simply 2 long strips of the organza, sewn together, and the edges finished with a scallop stitch.
