Pink Cotton Polonaise with Ruffled Black Satin Petticoat & Matching Mask

I made this gown for myself from Butterick Pattern #3640.  I ended up raising the neckline a bit (unlike the green polonaise) and used hooks and eyes for the front closure.  The bodice of the gown is lined in the same material as the petticoat.  The petticoat pattern is the one I use for most of my patterns (two rectangular pieces sewn into a simple waistband with a slit left open on one side).  Sewed this and many of the other items in this gallery on my 1917 Franklin treadle sewing machine.  Finally upgraded to a modern electric sewing machine back in 2004 or 2005.  The mask is made from a cheap frame covered in the the same fabric as the dress with lace, ribbon, & sequins hot glued on.
