Pendleton Wool Short Jacket with Wool Petticoat and Stomacher

I made this jacket/stomacher from JP Ryan 18th Century Jackets Pattern using a piece of Pendleton wool my mother found for me at a thrift store.   The petticoat was made from teal wool using the Simplicity Pattern #8855.  The jacket is lined in a gray flannel as well as are the cuffs.  Since I wanted to make the buttons interchangeable, I simply sewed eyelet holes and attached the buttons by using tiny cotter pins I found at the hardware store.
