I designed this pattern from the Rocking Horse Farm High-Waisted Dress Pattern (with some modifications as always) as part of my merchandise line.  They are made from 100% cotton and come in three different sleeve lengths - short (as seen here), medium & long.  There is a matching ribbon for the waist and both the neck & waist openings are completely adjustable (draw-string).  Both the short and medium length sleeve version have adjustable sleeve openings as well.  These were the type of gowns wore by little girls during Jane Austen's day and look wonderful paired with a Straw Poke Bonnet.
